The FHLB Des Moines Marketing Analytics Intern will play a key role in the Bank’s Marketing Communications Department. This internship will provide real-world, value-add experience leading and assisting with a variety of initiatives across departments and the Bank, including but not limited to, cleaning, organizing and reporting data as well as using data to make decisions. This paid internship is expected to run from late May through late August 2024.Accountabilities:

  • Generate reports and export data from multiple databases (Qliksense, CRM system).
  • Scrub data and manage contact lists with direction.
  • Use data and analytics to identify and target member segments for events, marketing campaigns and other initiatives.
  • Collect data from financial institution members that will be used to update the Bank’s CRM system.
  • Contact clean up in Bank's email marketing system, Marketo.
  • Generate campaign dashboards using data from multiple marketing channels.

 Qualifications:

  • College Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Marketing or related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing a plus, but not required.
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics, MS Office, social media management and website platforms; willingness to learn Marketo.
  • Ability to multi-task, think critically and work independently.
  • Excellent change management skills including planning, organization, implementation and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $20.00 - $25.00This salary range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank’s annual incentive plan.
