Pumpkin is looking for an analytical and driven Growth and Partnerships Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the strategy and execution of some of our key growth marketing channels, with a primary focus on Affiliate marketing, SEM, and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for optimizing our marketing channels to drive customer growth and reduce our customer acquisition costs (CAC) while also igniting lead generation and policy sales through new and existing partner activations.


You will leverage your experience to help us optimize our marketing channels, driving customer growth and reducing our customer acquisition costs (CAC). You will also impact increasing policies sold via strategic partnerships through your excellent project management and relationship building skills. You will achieve this by driving new leads, supporting the deal process, and optimizing performance of active partners. Working closely with the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing as well as the Head of Growth & Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our ambitious customer growth targets. This will be a hybrid position, with a requirement of 2 days a week in the New York City office.


What You'll Do:

  • Dedicate 60-70% of your focus managing our growth and affiliate strategy while the remainder will be spent impacting our strategic partnership efforts
  • Optimize and build relationships with existing affiliate partners, and identify and on-board new partners
  • Manage and grow our SEM campaigns, as well as research and evaluate new prospective growth marketing channels
  • Develop a nurture strategy and optimize our upper funnel to convert leads from channels you manage
  • Identify and source new potential strategic partners
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless execution and optimization of strategic partnerships
  • Partner with our in-house creative team to deliver on-brand creative (ads, landing pages) customized to each channel’s audience
  • Analyze and report on channel and partnership performance, providing insights and areas of opportunity
  • Create presentations for senior leadership, and present performance to a wider group


What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of performance marketing experience, optimizing marketing campaigns end-to-end
  • Strong experience launching and optimizing campaign across a variety of marketing channels (Facebook, SEM, affiliates)
  • Expertise using A/B testing methods and developing hypotheses using data
  • Experience with funnel optimization, from initial ad impression to landing page testing to lead nurture
  • Proficient in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Mixpanel and other analytical tools
  • Basic SQL & HTML skills, familiarity with Javascript for tag implementation and testing
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills
  • Love dogs and/or cats!

  • Experience with insurance, pets, healthcare or other considered product that requires education before purchase
  • Creative skills - design and more advanced copywriting experience
  • Advanced SQL and data automation knowledge

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000- $140,000 (annually). Compensation may vary outside the listed range, based on a number of factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, performance, skills and experience. The compensation range listed is just one component of Pumpkin’s total compensation package for employees. Total compensation packages, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short or long-term incentives. If hired, employees will be in an ‘at-will position’ and Pumpkin reserves the right to modify compensation (as well as any other discretionary payment or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
