Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator’s overall responsibility is to positively represent the company and increase sales for the Michigan
locations of Empire Franchise group through: grassroots marketing efforts, creating charity partnerships and campaigns, maintaining social media presence, public relations, community events, relationship building, and consistently exceeding customer expectations. The Marketing Coordinator should have in-depth knowledge of marketing and recruiting practices; effective networking skills; company products and services; and conversational sales practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continually maintain a thorough understanding of all company products, services, and pricing in order to effectively market to your territory
- Manage and participate in community and charity events to increase brand awareness
- Develop and execute grassroots marketing strategy
- Research and assist in growing our commercial business
- Participate in regional networking and chamber events
- Develop and execute public relations strategy
- Execution of social media plan
- Execute grassroots recruiting strategy
- Analyze and predict market trends
- Measure grassroots marketing/recruiting investments and make recommendations for improved
ROI
- Monitor and assist in growing sales and recruiting lead volume
- Participate as a model in media spots for Empire and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations in the region
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all company products, services, and pricing
- Make recommendations for improved box display areas
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Marketing and Recruiting
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Associates degree or higher, in related field, is preferred.
- 3 years of proven marketing experience
- 21 years of age
- 3 years of documented driving experience.
- Must be able to be bound on company vehicle insurance and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Proven and verifiable customer service skills
- Proven understanding of online advertising techniques
- Strong understanding of conversational selling techniques
- Excellent oral and written comprehension and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a budget to obtain maximum ROI for efforts
- Demonstrated ability to present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
- Bilingual is a plus
- Understanding of and commitment to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core values.
- Demonstrated ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
- Must be proficient in social media advertising and with the following Microsoft applications:
- Excel
- Word
- Outlook
Work Environment
- Work is generally performed 30% in an office setting and 70% in the field with no unusual hazards.
- Travel is required (3-6 times per year)
- Marketing Coordinators are frequently required to stand, walk, talk, sit, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, feel and/or lift with hands and arms.
- Must be able to continuously lift, and place, up to 50#.
