How will you shape the Product Marketing team?

You’ll be part of the team that is the linchpin in the cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Product and our Sales team. Your hard-working hands will help shape our product messaging and positioning and get them to the right audiences at the right time. You’ll be integral in launching new products and the entire product lifecycle, including using the competitive market to influence our roadmap. Helping us create a stronger go to market strategy, you will have a major impact on the product vision, competitive knowledge and product launch process. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, in our growing and powerful Marketing organization.

The Gig

  • Lead the product launch process in collaboration with the Product, Sales Enablement, Content and Demand Gen teams
  • Create and execute our competitive strategy and act as the subject matter expert on the competitive landscape
  • Analyze the market to give insights on audience segmentation, messaging, positioning, content creation, and comms
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and our product roadmap in collaboration with the Product team while acting as the voice of the customer 
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to get everyone on the same page with what’s new in the product, why it matters and how to talk about it 
  • Continually optimize product messaging, audience intel, and competitive intel to keep our story fresh  
  • Write effective product marketing briefs to empower our marketing team to do their best work 
  • Contribute to our go to market, campaign, and product strategies with in-depth product and market knowledge
  • Develop bottom of the funnel collateral to support our sales teams with the value propositions of our products and product features 
  • Improve cross-functional processes for executing and communicating Product Marketing projects 
  • Drive consistency of the Jellyvision and product story across all audiences, including internal teams, customers, prospects, analysts and the greater market
  • Build and maintain a strong feedback loop for our customers to influence the product roadmap
  • Set measurable goals, including product adoption and content engagement, to contribute to the greater goals of our team and company
  • Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance of product marketing goals

Your expertise

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience or similar 
  • A background in Product or Marketing
  • Experience working with Product teams on a SaaS product 
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Experience developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for B2B products
  • Competitive strategy expertise 

About remote hiring

Jellyvision's headquarters is in Chicago, however, our philosophy is "Flexible First". This means that coming into the office is by choice, not required. But this position is also eligible for work by a remote employee out of CA,CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, MN, NC, NE, NM, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA or WI.

The salary range for this position is: $105,956 - $129,502. Final salary is dependent upon your specific skills, years of experience and internal equity. Additionally, Jellyvision provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, and retirement savings plans. Take a peek at our comprehensive benefits this position is eligible for on our careers page.
