Ascendant ( is a team of professionals with expertise in managing every aspect of a consumer product business. We acquire segment-leading brands with strong intellectual property assets and reposition them for growth in both direct-to-consumer (Amazon, Shopify) and retail channels.

Ascendant was founded by longtime Amazon business operators. We know the U.S.’s leading marketplace channel well and have great partners who help us manage it, specifically Amazon’s ad programs. We’re seeking a digital advertising expert to help us transition to fully managing this ad spend in-house. Our ambition is also to become more independent in setting the strategy for and managing our search and social ad spend. What we’re looking for:

  • A passionate marketer and operations manager pursuing a career at the intersection of digital advertising and ecommerce. 
  • A reliable and resourceful problem-solver who anticipates a business’ challenges and works diligently to address them. 
  • An avid trial-and-error researcher who uses experimentation and iteration to optimize product merchandising, digital marketing and shopper engagement. 
  • Commitment to implementing technology tools to progressively automate business processes. 

What we expect:

  • 2+ years of work experience in ecommerce with demonstrated capabilities in digital advertising management, primarily with Amazon’s ad programs, secondarily with search and social ad platforms. 
  • Either experience with Amazon Seller Central and FBA operations management, Shopify channel development operations or both. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Willingness to travel 5-6 times per year. 


  • $55,000 - $100,000+ budgeted compensation range, depending on experience + incentive bonus
  • 10 days paid vacation + 10 paid company days off + 8 paid holidays
