In this role you will:
A Content Marketing Strategist at Actabl plans, executes, and deploys Actabl's overall content marketing strategy. This includes content for social media, email, blog, print, and other marketing materials. You will be expected to own and manage our email and social media calendars, copy edit, and create supporting content for our marketing campaigns.
Typical Functions:
Multi-Channel Content Creation
- Plans, writes, and edits multi-format content for web and print including email, social media, blog, product one-sheeters, event promotional items, presentations, webinars, landing pages, podcasts, and video.
Planning, Writing, and Deploying Content
- Collaborates with the marketing team to research, write, and edit seo-rich content to drive lead generation and enable our sales teams.
- Writes and edits content for social media, email marketing, blog, website, and other channels.
- Owns and manages email and social content calendars and deployment of content while delegating relevant items to marketing colleagues and vendors.
- Optimizes Actabl social media channels.
Proactive Collaboration & Brainstorming
- Collaborates, brainstorms, and strategizes with marketing colleagues and internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) to create compelling content.
- Brings creative ideas and asks questions with curiosity and confidence to better inform content creation and campaign execution.
- Develops a deep understanding of our customers, products, value propositions, and competitive intelligence.
Project Management
- Works independently and cooperatively on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborates with marketing team leaders and across departments to define, manage, and prioritize content marketing projects.
- Takes ownership of project timelines and deliverables.
- Utilizes project management software and other collaboration tools to efficiently and proactively communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, seek and coordinate feedback, and call out blockers.
- Examines existing processes, identifying flaws, and creating solutions to improve project workflow.
Requirements
- Has 4+ years of experience in marketing with focus on social media, content creation, and email marketing.
- Has managed corporate social media accounts
- Can provide a portfolio of professional writing samples
- Has experience interpreting data trends to create customer-facing content
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- Is an exceptional writer and copy editor and can provide examples of their work
- Marketing agency B2B SaaS experience preferred. Hotel/hospitality experience is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot or similar marketing/sales automation tools a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Natural curiosity and eagerness to improve
